Hiring Department: Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts
Supervisor: Terri Jones
College of Southern Nevada North Las Vegas Cheyenne Campus
Work Hours per week: up to 20
Hourly Rate of Pay: $14.00
Position Description:
Duties are for anything needed to assist the department. This may include the following duties:
Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming office environment.
Make copies, scan documents, and prepare materials as requested.
Help prepare materials for meetings, events, orientations, workshops, and department activities.
Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as appropriate.

Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree/Certificate Programs:
Hospitality Management majors with emphasis in:
Culinary
Pastry Arts
Food and Beverage Administration
Tourism, Convention & Event Planning
Gaming

Required Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with students & faculty.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with faculty and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling student, employee, and departmental information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn; have a good understanding of diverse multicultural environments; be able to follow directions and communicate well; be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
