The Opportunity:
Under the administrative direction of the General Manager of the (Job A/Southside Market: Southside Cafe, Flix Café & Coug Eats, and SS Market; Job B/CUB: CUB Dining Operations) ensures clean, efficient, friendly and courteous service. Provides immediate supervision and administrative support those units. Responsible for providing direct supervision to employees, to include hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating and disciplining employees for the operation. Responsible for programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting the integrated cash register system. Contributes to a positive, productive, and harmonious work environment. Must possess a general understanding that Dining Services is an evolving ever-changing operation designed to react to trends and new information to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:
$4,508 - $6,763 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications - Both Positions:
A Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant administration, institutional management, business administration or closely related field and two (2) years of supervisory/management experience which included planning and budgeting. Additional qualifying food service work experience and/or vocational training in quantity food preparation may be substituted, year-for-year, for college education.
Previous experience supervising multi-unit operations that reflect culinary depth and breadth in concept development, facility development, equipment specification, food and labor cost controls, plating and presentation.
Strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and supervisory experience.
Must have a Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain a permit within 14 days of employment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, weekends will be required.
Experience in developing and maintaining operational policies and procedures.
