About role

As a Staff Analytics Engineer - Data Modeling Expert, you will play a role in the internal development of the GetInData approach to Data Modeling in the Modern Data Platforms (MDP) context. In the long term, you can become our Subject Matter Expert (SME), teach other Analytics Engineers, and act as a Data Modeling Expert.
If you're a former BI Architect, Data Warehouse Specialist, or Data Modeler or have just worked on building the right data models for analytics, this job offer is for you.

Responsibilities

• Being a consultant, trainer in the team, and Subject Matter Expert in the area of Data Modeling
• Being the Leader of the Data Modeling Initiative at GetInData
• Participating in activities external to the project to better understand the field, market, or technologies
• Performing an extensive range of complex technical and professional challenges in a variety of contexts
• Leading meetings with the client technical teams (training, handovers, requirements gathering) and internal projects
• Using your knowledge to create organizational standards
• Sharing knowledge with our GetInData community at least once a year

Requirements

• Experience in Snowflake and other cloud-managed DWH systems like BigQuery or Azure Synapse Analytics
• Solid experience working with dbt
• Knowledge of Advanced SQL and Data Modeling methodologies (Data Vault 2.0, Kimball, Inmon, etc.)
• Knowledge of at least one reporting/BI tool: Looker, PowerBI, Tableau
• Proficiency with DWH concepts
• Ability to work in customer-facing roles
• Openness to knowledge sharing and training delivery (both internal and external)
• Openness to play the role of a consultant working hand in hand with our clients
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
• Good command of English - C1
