Job Summary

This position provides expert level leadership and support to the provider network analytics, analysis and insights functions. Responsible for identifying and enhancing initiatives to improve the competitiveness of HCSC provider networks and products.  

Job Responsibilities:   

• Responsible for utilizing internal and external data sources to report, analyze and develop insights on our existing contracts and competitiveness including: machine-readable files, percent of Medicare analysis, NSA & Transparency Data and other internal and external tools.

• Develop consistent and actionable reporting and metrics on networks that inform overall network strategy including, but not limited to: membership, cost trend, MLR, top providers, outlier reports, etc. 

• Perform deep-dive analysis on cost and trend drivers by service categories, geographies, lines of business, and health systems and provide insights into our networks relative to our competitors.  

• Assist on data analysis and opportunities related to competitive discount positioning.

• Responsible for enterprise-level reporting to drive value improvements and insights from the results. 

• Produce and iterate the monthly medical cost reports which are created for each state to make it easier to drive insights and results.

• Work with Health Care Management team to establish solutions for specific diagnostic areas where there are opportunities. 

• Responsible for the design, development and implementation of VBC reporting and insights used for providers contracted in our enterprise value-based payment models.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and local market teams to generate insights and drive value.

• Consulting with & Training team members.

Required Job Qualifications:   

• Bachelors Degree and 15 years of experience in health care, health insurance, or analytics  

• 10 years of experience leading and mentoring staff 

• Experience with strategic planning, strategy development, analytics and research 

• Experience in identifying and analyzing issues and in recommending/implementing solutions. 

• Experience with interacting successfully with senior management and staff across multiple departments 

• Ability to work within complex situations and to get things done through formal and informal channels. 

• Interpersonal skills including skills on conflict resolution. 

• Facilitation and group leadership skills. 

• Strong project management skills. 

• Experience in managing organizational change. 

• Outcomes oriented. 

Preferred Job Qualifications: 

• Masters Degree

Base Pay Range

$154,400.00 - $286,600.00
