We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Tech to join our team at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison- Jackson, GA

Shift:

• Day| Full-time | 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM | Monday - Friday 

Hourly rate:

• $ 19.00-$23.00 an hour

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.

Essential Duties:

•    Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system

•    Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy

•    Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing

•    Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist
