Job Description:

Full-time, 1st Shift (8 hr shift) M-F 7:30am -4:00 pm and 8:00am -4:30 pm rotating schedules.

When necessary, in department shortages, there may be a need to have a call schedule, weekend schedule and holiday schedule.

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and procedures that do not require breaking the skin or entering the body. This unit plays a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing a variety of medical conditions, particularly those related to cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular systems.

Description:

  • Assist Cardiovascular Lab Coordinator with the appropriate patient care management and adjusting the daily operations to meet the needs of the changing working environment in the Cardiovascular Lab of Non-Invasive Cardiology

  • Assist Areas of Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound

  • Strong expertise in the clinical applications in Echo and/or Vascular

  • Act as a technical resource for other staff and will assist in overseeing training of staff

  • Perform Echo and/or Vascular related procedures within scope of boards certifications, computer processing and related techniques, and producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a license independent practitioner

  • Works with Electronic Health Record (EHR) team, Director of Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Services on changes/needs for the (EHR)

  • Keeps all licenses for facility current and maintains compliance with all standards.

  • Assists Echo Medical Director and Echo Vascular Coordinator with writing policy and procedures for new procedure

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience

  • Certified through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing CCI or an Associates degree of an Ultrasound Program

  • Patient Care or Leadership experience preferred

  • Life Support Training or Certification (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)
