Commercial Electrical Foreman
Lead crews. Run the jobsite. Build projects that power cities.
We’re hiring an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on large commercial electrical construction projects.This role is for electricians who are ready to take ownership of the jobsite, lead crews, and deliver high-quality electrical installations safely and efficiently.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades to keep projects moving and crews productive.
What You'll Be Responsible ForAs a Foreman, you are responsible for executing the work in the field.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:• Leading crews of electricians and apprentices • Planning daily work activities and coordinating manpower • Reading blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications • Installing and supervising installation of conduit, wiring, lighting, and distribution systems • Coordinating electrical work with other trades on site • Ensuring installations meet NEC code and project specifications • Maintaining jobsite safety and enforcing safety standards • Monitoring productivity and reporting job progress • Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries • Mentoring apprentice electricians
A Day in the Life of a ForemanYour typical day might include:• Morning crew huddle and safety briefing • Reviewing drawings and planning work for the day • Coordinating installations with other trades • Solving field challenges and keeping crews productive • Checking installation quality and code compliance • Reporting job progress to the Project ManagerThis role is hands-on leadership in the field, not a desk job.
What You BringRequired experience:• 6+ years of commercial electrical experience • Experience leading electrical crews on construction projects • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and NEC code • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics • Experience coordinating work with other tradesPreferred qualifications:• Journeyman Electrician license (state dependent) • Experience with large commercial or industrial projects • Data center or mission-critical project experience
