Responsibilities 

• Comply with safety rules and regulations, attends safety meetings and training, inspects work area for hazards/deficiencies and initiates actions to correct them. Reports injury/illness and/or environmental incidents.
• Strong electrical background (knowledge of single and three phase electrical wiring, controls and motors)
• Experience with mechanical pumps, drives and blowers
• Perform all preventative maintenance procedures on production and building equipment
• Piping
• Welding
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Excellent communication skills. Must speak, read, and write English.
• Must be detail oriented and organized to meet schedules.
• Assist the Maintenance and Shift Supervisors in meeting the daily goals as established by Plant Manager.
• Assist Supervisor in performance of safety inspections.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with all functions and levels within the site and company. Good team skills.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Requirements 


• High School diploma
• Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints
• Must be able to use standard electrical test equipment (V.O.A. meters and amp probes), use and read micrometers, gages and measuring devices.
