About the role

The Center for Child Health, Behavior and Development is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to support several projects related to youth sport and physical activity. The CRC-I will play a vital role in supporting the research team across administrative, logistical, implementation, and data collection phases of multiple projects: 

Implementation Support and Coordination
- Materials Adaptation: Assist in the adaptation of materials and implementation support to fit key constituent specifications.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the distribution of resources to key constituents.

Data Collection
- Survey Administration: Coordinate and track quantitative survey data collection for youth athletes, coaches, and others.
- Data Integrity: Manage the procedures for distributing and tracking surveys at baseline and follow-up.
- Process Data Tracking: Track completion of research procedures and educational trainings, monitor and record other administrative process data.

Qualitative Research Assistance
- Interview Logistics: Assist in the purposive recruitment and scheduling of semi-structured qualitative interviews.
- Analysis Support: Following training, assist with the analysis of interview data in Dedoose.

Our preferred candidate will have: 
- Familiarity with sport culture and the context of youth sports.
- Familiarity with mixed-methods research, specifically collecting and managing quantitative survey data and conducting or assisting with qualitative interviews.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience supporting interventions related to concussion education or behavioral intervention development is beneficial.

  

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in research or a related field/setting. Confirmed proficiency in a second language via successful completion of a language assessment may be required for certain departments.

Required Credentials
Current Drivers license for the state of Washington

Preferred
Pediatric research experience.

Compensation Range

$29.16 - $43.73 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
