Position Overview
The Division of Early Childhood (DEC) is seeking to hire an energetic and detail-oriented manager to perform highly technical and independent duties in the fiscal administrations of the statewide Bureau of Home Visiting Programs, including design planning, in-depth analysis of the program and its outcomes, coordination with contracted providers, Department of Human Services (DHS) staff and Bureau team members. This position provides the more complex inputs into the Bureau of Home Visiting Program service delivery and financial system; provides complex technical assistance to providers plans, develops, analyzes, and coordinates contracted services for home visiting programs, initiates and develops grant proposals to allocate funding for Bureau of Home Visiting services; assists with special analytical projects assigned with the Bureau; and perform professional financial and compliance review of the BHV Program Funds. The Division of Early Childhood is one of six divisions within the Illinois Department of Human Services. DEC serves to strengthen and centralize Child Care, Early Intervention, and Home Visiting within DHS.
