Come join our Venice Family Clinic team to make a difference in the community. Under the guidance and direction of the Call Center Manager, this lead role will perform a full range of call center duties, including: 

  • Provide prompt and courteous telephone assistance to callers.  
  • Answer, screen and triage a high volume of incoming calls, verify eligibility, and schedule for multiple services across Venice Family Clinic. 
  • Manage and respond to incoming messages from patient portal. 
  • Contact patients to offer follow up appointments. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a call center or in a medical setting that includes patient registration, appointment scheduling, health insurance enrollment or equivalent education/experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
  • Verbal communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and concisely
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with callers and staff 
  • Ability to verify insurance coverage via the internet in appropriate websites
  • Ability to ty
