ABOUT THE POSITION

The Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Intern at Trade Republic is responsible for working as a part of the IT Governance team to assist with Business Continuity Program and governance activities that support all Trade Republic entities. Primary responsibilities include supporting directive rollouts and compliance, coordinating project deliverables and follow-up with internal and external resources, assisting with business continuity and disaster recovery documentation, assisting with process improvement initiatives within the department. The Business Continuity Management System Intern will need to develop strong working relationships with IT and business colleagues.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits, exams, reviews, etc.
• Assist with the creation, implementation and annual review of directives, policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Support the business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives by assisting with plan documentation and testing.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives within the department.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Pursuing a 4-year Degree in Information Technology, Information Sciences or Business Administration
• Initial experience in financial services would be an advantage
• Self starter with the drive to work and continuously learn in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization
• Excellent communication and written skills in English (German is a plus)
