Production Control Analyst

Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Production & Inventory Control Analyst (Hospitality).
We are looking for a Production & Inventory Control Analyst to join our talented team. This role will work with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Product Management to develop and manage forecasts for long range material planning while considering current inventory, obsolescence, lead times, product life cycles and production capacity. The ideal candidate will also be able to develop specific actions and carry the ability to execute projects that drive improvements in the customer service experience, including on time deliveries and reduced lead times. This position will be based in our (Tarkett Hospitality division in Dalton GA) and will report to Master Scheduler.
Your skills we value:
Collaborate with vendors and other warehouses to establish production schedules for coating and tile finishing
Facilitate finishing process and assign finished goods material to customer orders
Problem solve and trouble shoot inventory anomalies in greige and finished goods
Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain
Lead communication with customer service on production fallouts and coating delays
Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs
Provide reporting to support that inventory levels are in line at distribution center
Develop, improve, and change reports as needed
Effectively work with other departments, teams, and peers to solve problems and continuously improve
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field / or equivalent work experience
At least 3 years scheduling/inventory analysis experience
Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret product information, production schedules, and other process documentation in English.
Computer proficiency, specifically with CAMS, SAP, MS Office & Teams, ERP/MRP system
Strong attention to detail and follow-up
Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures
Experience with carpet coating very strongly desired. (Preferred)
APICS certification (Preferred)
