Developer- Information Services Expert
As an Expert Full Stack .NET Developer with deep expertise in healthcare systems, system development strategies, design concepts, and architecture, you will serve as a visionary leader and technical authority, driving innovation and excellence in software development within the healthcare domain. Drawing upon your extensive knowledge of C#, JavaScript, and Azure technologies, you will shape the technical direction of projects, design scalable and resilient architectures, and mentor teams to deliver transformative solutions that redefine the future of healthcare technology. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use under limited supervision.
- Serves as the expert technical resource on development projects.
- Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
- Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
- Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
- Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
- Provides subject matter expertise in complex database query skills such as SSIS, SRS, Stored Procedures or other complex queries to provide technical and business teams with requested data.
- Serves as the subject matter expert to coach and mentor team members and leaders to feel equipped with the new knowledge and skills to remain current.
STRONGLY PREFERRED:
- 12+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a proven track record of leadership and innovation in healthcare IT.
- Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Extensive experience in architecting and implementing enterprise-scale healthcare applications, including electronic health records (EHR), health information exchanges (HIE), and population health management systems.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, HIPAA, GDPR, and Meaningful Use criteria, and their implications for software development.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing and Azure services, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience or ability to demonstrate commensurable level of experience.
- Requires strong analytical and communication skills.
- Must have an expert level of experience in at least one high-level language such as C#, C++ or Java.
- Requires database experience such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc. Must have advanced experience with at least one ORM tool, preferably Entity Framework.
