Trucking Intern

Overview:
As a Trucking Intern, you’ll work alongside our Trucking Supervisors and learn how we move perishable products efficiently and safely. This internship is ideal for college students interested in supply chain, transportation, or operational logistics. You’ll learn what it takes to coordinate a successful delivery network while supporting important administrative and analytical tasks.

What You’ll Learn and Do:

• Understand the basics of logistics and trucking operations
• Learn how to track fuel and toll costs, monitor unproductive overtime, and assess delivery efficiency
• Gain exposure to Produce Pro, our logistics and inventory software system
• Learn about Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and compliance requirements
• Assist with data entry, reports, and records for trip tracking
• Observe how our trucking department interacts with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams
• Participate in team meetings and support project tasks as needed
• Practice professional communication and organizational skills

Who You Are:

• A college student with an interest in trucking, driving, logistics, or supply chain management
• Detail-oriented, persistent, and self-motivated
• Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers and data systems
• Strong communicator and team player
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
