Job Description

We are enhancing our US Oncology Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) team to deliver exceptional results and support our business growth. This is your opportunity to be part of AbbVie’s US Oncology Therapeutic Area (Oncology TA), which boasts multiple assets in commercialization and development, along with a mission-focused and inclusive culture. Your ideas and experience matter. We value driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can lead initiatives from start to finish, see the promise before us, anticipate risks and opportunities, and are willing to learn and adapt to change.

As the Associate Director, OEC, you will foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior across the Oncology TA. You will be the OEC champion in one or more US Oncology Franchises and will have other OEC matrix responsibilities. You will establish strong alliances and collaborate with OEC, Legal, Commercial, R&D & Medical Affairs + Health Impact, and other risk and assurance colleagues to fulfill your objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor
    • Serve as the primary OEC partner and subject matter expert to a diverse stakeholder pool, including Commercial and Medical Affairs + Health Impact colleagues in assigned Oncology Franchises.
    • Be the OEC lead in key pan-Franchise initiatives (e.g., be the point of contact across all Oncology Franchises for new or less established field roles) or governance groups (e.g., coordinate with other risk and assurance partners the implementation of plans, reviews, and dashboards).
    • Demonstrate business acumen, issue spotting skills, a solution-driven mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of industry practices, AbbVie, and our science.
