Many well-known brands like Heineken, Disney, and Coca-Cola use our platform to buy digital advertising spaces on smartphones and digital billboards on the streets programmatically. <br/>About the role:<br/>The Finance Team sits at the global intersection of critical analysis and operational function, housing Accounting, FP&amp;A, and Corporate Development. The Team is currently looking for a Finance Associate who can lead both Accounting and FP&amp;A processes across our growing EMEA business. This position will report to the VP of Finance based out of NYC. This position will work hand-in-hand with the Global Finance Team and be a business partner to Leadership across the EMEA region supporting Budgeting &amp; Forecasting, Billing, and Tax requirements amongst other things!<br/>Since most of the FP&amp;A team is based in New York, some flexibility to overlap working hours with the team is necessary.<br/> <h3>What you'll do:</h3> <ul> <li>Support billing process by collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance; ensure proper set-up requirements and verify accuracy of reporting for billing purposes.</li><li>Responsible for all customer supplier portals and accurate submission of invoices within portals such as Ariba, Coupa, etc. </li><li>Manage all communication flowing through our AR and AP aliases with timely responses and a customer service attitude. </li><li>Assist with process documentation and work cross-functionally to improve processes, address issues, and implement effective solutions.</li><li>Process all sub-ledger payment applications for customer payment and monitor AR aging balances, metrics, and reporting. </li><li>Take ownership of collections outreach, follow-ups, and escalations internally or externally on past-due accounts.</li><li>Administer employee expense reimbursement processing, including auditing expense reimbursements to ensure adherence to company policies.</li><li>Ad Hoc projects and audits based on team and business needs.</li></ul> <h3>What experience we’re looking for:</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.</li><li>3-4+ years of relevant work experience.</li><li>Knowledge of finance principles and reporting.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel; pivot tables, lookups, etc.</li><li>Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software and Salesforce preferred.</li></ul> <h3>Who you are:</h3> <ul> <li>Data-driven with strong critical thinking abilities, highly organized, and detail-oriented.</li><li>Enjoy diving into complex issues to find solutions with a “can do” attitude</li><li>Strong communication, research, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Quick learner and comfortable with ambiguity and multitasking.</li><li>Intrinsically motivated, with the drive to learn </li><li>Able to work both independently and within a flexible, supportive, and energetic team environment.</li></ul> <h3>What we offer:</h3> <ul> <li>25 vacation days</li><li>Quarterly lifestyle stipend</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Open business culture: We facilitate teams working together in our open workspaces and sharing their own ideas and vision.
