Maintenance Technician

At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation — including hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. You'll also help maintain and repair essential warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth operations in our fast-paced cold storage environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on MHE such as forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.

· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions.

· Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

· Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.

· Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

· 1+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia).

· Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.

· Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.

· Previous experience in forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance preferred.

· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, and operate tools/equipment safely.
