Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for assigned hardware including technical, cost, delivery and quality. Support the definition of overall program plans and translate plans into requirements and milestones for the procurement of assigned hardware. Serves as manufacturing representative for PCB, Tollgate and Technical reviews for assigned hardware
  • Developing specialized knowledge of latest developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
  • Responsible for administering the EVM business cycle for assigned program or cost accounts Monitor changes to assigned government program control accounts and support engineering Cost Account Managers (CAMS) on a daily basis 
  • Focus on team and department priorities within operating unit Responsible for improving processes through the use of digital tools technical expert on EVMS digital tools and processes Interface with government Customers and regulators (DCMA) 
  • Provide counsel and advice concerning regulations and System Description Prime interface with Engineering on development and demonstrator programs Define and execute roles, responsibilities and processes to achieve overall program goals on cost and to schedule 
  • Focal for all aspects of program communication and reviews with Supply Chain leadership Participate in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Present projects plan, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing programs, Program Management or Manufacturing (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing programs)
  • Ability obtain and maintain US DoD Clearance
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
