Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to lead our Nephrology Patient Support program. This role will oversee nurse case managers, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence in our support services, inclusive of medication administration training and lifestyle management counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee nurse case manager teams, incorporating continuing education credit opportunities and licensure retention activities, ensuring effectiveness of the education and empowerment of patients
- Collaborate with E&C to develop and implement a compliance monitoring process through in-field visits and call and case monitoring, maintaining high standards of patient care
- Collaborate closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulations ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, HIPAA, and industry standards
- Develop and implement program enhancements aligned with Brand leadership goals, driving process improvements and efficiencies in program architecture
- Partner with Managed Markets and other matrix partners to address market challenges, deriving and implementing key strategies for compliant mitigation
- Develop key performance indicators and create analytics to demonstrate program effectiveness
- Lead strategic planning and operational execution for the nephrology patient support program arm
- Foster a patient-centric approach across all support services
- Stay abreast of reimbursement landscape changes and disease states to ensure relevant resources and materials are available for the teams
- Collaborate in and oversee the development and distribution of patient support program materials across various channels inclusive of collaborating to develop training resources
- Lead cross-functional efforts to align patient services with broader company objectives
- Foster a culture of employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and industry partners as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's preferred
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong background in nephrology or oncology patient care preferred
- Experience in managing nurse case managers and support teams
- Proven track record in program implementation and process improvement
- Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on performance data
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
