Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

Manage Information Technology's strategic vendor management program, including developing the strategies to leverage and expand partnerships with IT's key vendors.   The Strategic VMO Manager, oversee managed services and material commodities, identify opportunities for strategic sourcing, and develops/maintains relationship management strategies for IT vendors and commodities. 

Job Responsibilities

• Vendor Management Responsibities as outlined in the Job Description to include but not limited to; (1) Oversee and coordinate IT's contract management, vendor performance management, contractor/managed service providers and external sourcing programs (2) Manage, develop and lead VMO team, responsible for contract management and vendor performance management
• External Stakeholders as outlined in the Job Description to include but not limited to;  (1) Operate a program to build vendor relationships to provide quality materials and services at the lowest total cost that meet or exceed business requirements, while maintaining the smallest possible vendor base needed (2) Provide support and manage high profile vendor relationships on projects in coordination with IT SLT
• Internal Stakeholders as outlined in the Job Description to include but not limited to; (1) Builds long-term, strategic relationships with IT leaders, maintaining a strong understanding of the industry and associated business strategies and ensures supply of vendors with products and services aligned to these strategies, (2) Monitor relationships with key stakeholders and identify pain points in the process and prioritize opportunities for improvement
• Financial/contract/metrics as outlined in the Job Description to include but not limited to; (1) Negotiates at senior level on technical and commercial issues, (2) Increase efficiency and reduce supplier spend and risk
