About the role
Our partner is currently seeking a Supervisor for Eligibility Services based in Chicago, IL. The role involves overseeing eligibility services technology platforms, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing support to various departments and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Identify synergies and process improvements for platform modernization.
- Address and resolve issues by actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate with eligibility services, internally and externally, to provide updates.
- Support customer service and account management departments, collaborating with vendor partners to resolve issues.
- Oversee new group setup and process changes, renewals, and open enrollment in eligibility technology platforms.
- Manage day-to-day eligibility operations, maintenance, and address rejected units.
- Review eligibility audit reports and ensure successful member updates.
- Act as an escalation point for internal and external questions and requests.
- Provide training and technical support for clients on the web-based enrollment platform.
- Conduct quality assurance testing and deploy robust quality protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members, including one-on-one meetings and performance appraisals.
- Clearly communicate expectations and provide necessary training, resources, and information to support employee success.
- Actively engage, coach, counsel, and provide timely and constructive performance feedback.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 5-7 years of prior benefits administration experience with a focus on benefits administration technology.
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience with a successful track record.
- Strong business acumen and experience in leading projects and teams.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
