About the role

Our partner is currently seeking a Supervisor for Eligibility Services based in Chicago, IL. The role involves overseeing eligibility services technology platforms, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing support to various departments and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify synergies and process improvements for platform modernization.
  • Address and resolve issues by actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate with eligibility services, internally and externally, to provide updates.
  • Support customer service and account management departments, collaborating with vendor partners to resolve issues.
  • Oversee new group setup and process changes, renewals, and open enrollment in eligibility technology platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day eligibility operations, maintenance, and address rejected units.
  • Review eligibility audit reports and ensure successful member updates.
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external questions and requests.
  • Provide training and technical support for clients on the web-based enrollment platform.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and deploy robust quality protocols to ensure data integrity.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members, including one-on-one meetings and performance appraisals.
  • Clearly communicate expectations and provide necessary training, resources, and information to support employee success.
  • Actively engage, coach, counsel, and provide timely and constructive performance feedback.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5-7 years of prior benefits administration experience with a focus on benefits administration technology.
  • Previous team lead or supervisory experience with a successful track record.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in leading projects and teams.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
