Operations Executive

In the heart of The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. Job Summary:

Directs the day-to-day hospital operations. Manages business operations of selected primary care practices and/or other specialty or sub-specialties. Provides hospital level leadership responsible for operations.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Fifteen years' related experience: Preferred
• Ten years' leadership experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

• Oversees hospital operations. Manages, directs, and leads market level leadership to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Develops, directs and implements plans to ensure business objectives for the hospital are achieved.
• Develops and implements operations plans and objectives, coordinates care, services, and programming to achieve hospital objectives.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Develops/monitors/maintains FTE, capital, and operational budgets.
• Reviews department systems, concerns, budgets, and goals with physicians, including cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
