40Position Summary
The Human Cells, Tissues, and Organoids Core (hCTO) within the Center of Regenerative Medicine provides leadership, education, and services related to the use of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and advanced protocols for generation of organoids and engineered tissues to the Washington University research community.We are seeking new team members with expertise in cell culture techniques, organoid culture, bioreactors, tissue-on-chip, and/or related areas for both leadership and subordinate roles to work within the Center.
This position offers opportunities for publications and presentations consistent with the level of participation on a diverse array of collaborating projects. Working Conditions:
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is preferred for junior positions. Master's and/or PhD training in a science-related field is preferred for senior positions, including Core leadership.
- Prior experience with cell culture and basic wet laboratory techniques is strongly preferred for junior positions. At least some prior experience with organoid systems and iPSCs, including a general working knowledge of these systems, is recommended for senior appointees.
