Job Mission

The Sales Account Analyst – Walmart supports the development and execution of Duracell’s growth strategy with one of its most critical global retail partners. This role supports the day-to-day account operations across in-store and Walmart.com and is responsible for executing marketing plans, managing forecasts and budgets, and driving sales fundamentals. The Account Analyst builds strong customer relationships and collaborates across internal teams to deliver long-term, sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Walmart Account Sales Execution

· Support sales operations and relationship management for Walmart and Walmart.com

· Assist in development and execution of customer-specific plans in alignment with joint business objectives

· Manage item setup, content optimization, and catalog accuracy on Walmart systems

· Collaborate with customer teams to support promotional planning and item placement

2. Forecasting & Budget Management

· Maintain accurate sales forecasts and align with demand planning

· Manage trade budgets using AOM tools and track promotional spend

· Track volume, share, and retail performance vs. objectives; identify gaps and opportunities

3. Customer Relationship Development

· Build and maintain strong working relationships Walmart digital teams

· Serve as the primary contact for issue resolution and operational execution

· Support joint business planning (JBP) through data insights and tactical planning

4. Data Analysis & Reporting

· Monitor Walmart performance using internal dashboards and retail platforms (e.g., Walmart's Scintilla/Charter)

· Analyze POS, shipment, and promotional performance to guide strategy

· Deliver reporting to internal stakeholders and identify actions to improve execution

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Marketing, MS&P, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on forecasts and promotional execution

· Coordinate execution of launches, pricing updates, and visual merchandising initiatives

· Support in-store and online alignment for omnichannel consistency

6. Project Ownership & Sales Support

· Lead administrative tasks such as new item setup, digital content submissions, and promotional execution

· Support special projects including merchandising pilots or in-store execution tracking

· Ensure compliance with Walmart processes and internal sales team expectations

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

· 1-3 years of experience in CPG sales, retail account management, or eCommerce execution

· Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel (pivot tables, functions, v-lookups)

· Proficient in PowerPoint and capable of building data-backed sales presentations

· Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across functions

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with Walmart, including use of Scintilla/Charter and Retail Link tools

· Familiarity with AOM budgeting and trade planning processes

· Experience with syndicated data tools (e.g., Circana, Nielsen)

· Prior experience supporting Walmart.com or omnichannel execution

· Experience working in a matrixed CPG or retail environment
