The SAP Finance Solution Architect will play a critical role in shaping our technology strategy, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role must demonstrate they understand Capgemini's approach to Transformational Change and can convince clients of our ability to lead and deliver change on a complex program.  Understands the relationship between change activities and the broader program delivery, able to consider this in both solution and delivery execution.

The SAP Life Sciences Industry Solution Architect is a senior professional who specializes in designing and implementing SAP solutions tailored to the unique needs of the life sciences industry, such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices. This role involves combining deep expertise in SAP technologies with a thorough understanding of regulatory and operational requirements in life sciences to optimize business processes, ensure compliance, and drive innovation.

Your Role:

• Develop and implement the overall architecture for SAP Financial systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, etc.).
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions using SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP solutions specific to the Life Sciences industry, including SAP S/4, SAP Cloud Platform and industry specific cloud offerings. 
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA for Life Sciences

• Lead the implementation of SAP Finance solutions from project initiation to go-live, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth implementation process.
• Analyze current financial processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, automation, and SAP functionality that can streamline financial operations.
• Ensure the SAP system supports the organization’s financial goals and compliance requirements (e.g., tax regulations, SOX, internal controls).
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP Finance with other enterprise applications (ERP systems, etc.).
• Oversee data migration and conversion processes during system upgrades or implementations
• Ensure that SAP Financial systems comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, including audit trails and financial reporting.
• Monitor financial data security and support internal and external audits.
• Provide strategic leadership for the SAP architecture team, overseeing the design and implementation of end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Established personal brand amongst peers and executive leaders as the domain expert to call upon for the most critical sales and delivery opportunities.  Sustained success at this high level, raising the performance level of the entire team they engage with.
• Manage a team of SAP architects, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for professional development.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, SAP partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure that SAP solutions align with overall technology and business strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and support for SAP implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery and adherence to architecture standards.
• Present architecture concepts, strategies, and roadmaps to senior leadership and stakeholders.
