Be the link between IT and business  

 

As Senior IT Business Consultant, you will be the bridge between IT and LoB and work in close collaboration with the commercial organization on requirement analysis and drive global process harmonization with a primary focus on process related solution elements needed to drive business value of the transformation projects e.g., alignment and definition of process flows, business rules, fields, and list of values.  

You will play a proactive role in the transformation of the commercial value stream and contribute to a more business prosses, and benefit driven project implementation with a holistic cross functional focus on all needed solution elements (process, people, data, IT) to realize business value.  

 

The role is based out of Ambu HQ, and reports into Erik Rothschild, Director of Commercial Platforms.  

 

Key responsibilities 

 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

 

• Bridge business and IT and drive enterprise process harmonization of CRM related processes in close collaboration with the commercial organization including alignment on business rules and underline semantic information model. 

• Mature and shape project demands including business process as-is to-be gap analysis and business case development. 

• Define and refine the semantic business information model to support the commercial processes including definition of key entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules in close collaboration with data owners. 

• Define user requirement specifications for IT solutions to support the commercial processes and information model. 

• Contribute to a business prosses and benefit driven project implementation with a holistic cross functional focus on all needed solution elements (process, people, data, IT) 

• Data driven follow-up on user adoption and benefit realization 

 

 

Suggested candidate profile 

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have: 

 

• A master's degree in IT, Science, Business Administration, or related field. 

• Proven experience as an IT Business Consultant working with global process harmonization, requirement specifications and global IT project implementations.  

• Experience in functional process and information modelling, analysis, and design. 

• Strong understanding of commercial processes preferable from MedTech or similar industry. 

• Functional understanding of commercial IT platforms preferable Salesforce Sales and Revenue cloud (CPQ). 

• Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive and strategic thinking.  

• Structured and analytic mindset. 

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
