The Senior Contracts Specialist supports all departments at Cook MyoSite by coordinating, drafting from templates , negotiating and processing contracts with clients, vendors, consultants, and partners in accordance with business goals and objectives and established legal practices. The role also supports the implementation of Cook Group Ethics and Compliance policies and training, ensuring they are applied appropriately at Cook MyoSite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, evaluate, negotiate and finalize Non-Disclosure Agreements, Quality Agreements, Supply Agreements, Sub-contracts, Consulting Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Master Agreements, Distribution Agreements (resellers, agents, joint marketing etc.), Commercial and Public (Federal, State and Local Municipalities) Contracting • Serve as primary point of contact between company leadership and customers, vendors, and partners, ensuring timely review, approval, and reconciliation of contract variations. • Collaborate and meet regularly with Cook Group legal team or other established legal teams to review, revise, and approve Cook MyoSite contracts as necessary. • Maintain complete and accurate records and ensure the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is maintained, current, and compliant.• Develop, implement, and monitor contract management policies, procedures, and workflows, ensuring employee compliance and identifying areas of recurring risk or pressure. • Provide training, guidance, and tools to project managers, leadership, and internal stakeholders on contract processes, templates, and procedures.• Develop and maintain clause libraries and negotiation playbooks, monitor competitive terms, and adapt contracting practices to support customer satisfaction and organizational consistency.• Establish and support contract-related risk management practices and training in collaboration with Cook Group Lead team.• Ensure effective contract execution and lifecycle oversight, including communication of signed contracts, interpretation to support implementation, and timely close out, extension, or renewal.• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes • Partner with Ethics, Compliance, EHS, HR, and Quality teams to support policy implementation, serve as an internal escalation point for ethics and compliance questions (excluding investigations) and stay informed on relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Adobe Acrobat, and other general office equipment. Familiarity with updating and maintaining computerized database and document management systemsBasic understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and related regulations associated with Bio/Pharmaceutical product manufacturing

Minimum Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, paralegal studies, or a related field of study or at least 7 years of direct, relevant experience in contract management and negotiations to provide a comparable background

Minimum of 6+ years' experience in contract management and negotiationsPreferred experience with data privacy compliancePreferred experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry

MBA Preferred

Full Time Remote

Remote / Field Based: General office or home office setting.Must be located in the Greater Pittsburgh area and able to report on-site up to once per week and as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
