Caterpillar Rental & Used (R&U) is a part of the Construction Industries (CI) segment. A primary role of R&U is to support and enhance Caterpillar’s dealer network, which is a competitive strength and the critical way in which we serve our customers. 

Role Summary: The Rental & Used Fleet & Financial Data Consultant serves as the data expert for fleet and financial insights. This role supports the Rental Strategy by managing the rental fleet reporting process, delivering timely and accurate analysis to Field and Leadership Teams, and enhancing reporting capabilities to track progress toward strategic goals.

What You’ll Do 

• Report monthly dealer rental fleet and financial metrics. 

• Prepare and present Quarterly Financial Reviews to Rental Leadership Team. 

• Work with Cat dealers to standardize monthly & quarterly fleet & financial data to leverage insights. 

• Leverage Agile project management in development of tool & reporting needs for the Rental & Used organization. 

• Interpret data, develop modeling for rental & used fleets, provide insights in support of Rental & Used initiatives, e.g., Rental Fleet Planning & Analysis, Rental Profitability Analysis, Operational Excellence, Rapid Improvement Workshops. 

• Complete ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the Rental & Used organization and our business partners. 

• Lead data and analytics training to support the Rental & Used organization and our business partners.
