Job Overview: 

The Senior Director of Sourcing and Supply Chain will lead the global sourcing strategy, supply chain operations, and supplier relationships for Tactacam’s portfolio of consumer electronics. This senior-level leader will serve as a key strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Executive Leadership—guiding procurement processes, building a team in Asia, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain to support innovative product delivery. A deep technical understanding of camera technology and consumer electronics components is critical to success in this role. 

Responsibilities: 

● Define and lead sourcing and supply chain strategies for Tactacam’s Reveal, Defend, and FeatherSnap product lines. 

● Oversee vendor selection, relationship management, and contract negotiation with ODM and component suppliers. 

● Build and lead a high-performing global sourcing and procurement team, with emphasis on Asia-based operations. 

● Partner with Engineering and Product teams to translate product lifecycle requirements into sourcing actions. 

● Provide insights on component technologies including motion sensors, RPI sensors, lithium batteries, and other camera-related components. 

● Drive cost reductions and supply chain efficiencies while maintaining quality standards.

● Own the approval process for supplier and sourcing decisions. 

● Collaborate with engineering partners on supplier feasibility and technical compatibility.

● Travel internationally to Asia at least quarterly (and as needed) to manage supplier relationships and team oversight. 

● Maintain flexibility in work hours to accommodate international coordination. 

● Deliver regular reports and strategic recommendations to the executive team. 

● Support sourcing process optimization and procurement scalability as Tactacam continues to grow. 

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

● 8–10+ years of experience in consumer electronics sourcing and supply chain operations. 

● Demonstrated success managing ODM partnerships and global supplier networks. 

● Deep understanding of the camera industry and consumer electronics components.

● Strong negotiation skills with a proven record of cost savings and supplier alignment.

● Experience building and leading international teams. 

● Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel regularly. 

● Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. 

● Language skills: Preference for candidates who speak Chinese and/or Vietnamese.
