Software Engineer II

Summary of Duties:    Perform full cycle of SDLC including, technical requirements, software design, development, unit testing and deployment of production software features and components in an Agile environment. Design prototypes, deploy, and test new solutions within our markets. Provide state-of-the-art user experiences across mobile and desktop solutions. Build out scalable solutions to manage events and real-time status of close to a million independent devices. Be responsible for and operate scalable production services and user interface. Develop and test new solutions that enhance our position within our markets.

Qualifications:This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, Software Development Engineer, or related occupation. 

The position requires experience:

Object Oriented Design patterns to design and implement web based software solutions;

1 year of experience with C# or other OOP languages such as Java or Python;

1 year of experience implementing web technology frameworks such as: JavaScript, Python, or Ruby;

1 year implementing Unit Testing and software quality best practices;  

1 years' experience developing web services such as RESTful API's, message consumers; and  

1 years of experience creating databases using SQL or NOSQL technologies.

Salary:                        $117,145 to $128,794 / Year 

Hours:                        Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Hourly rate is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring hourly rate for this position is:

$48.84 - $56.76
