We’re Hiring: Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians!

At MWC, we are looking for skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians with a strong electrical background to ensure the smooth operation of our advanced industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems, including pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.
  • Install and commission industrial machinery and electrical components like motors, relays, switches, and sensors.
  • Work with CIP (cleaning in place) systems including pumps, valves, and plumbing in the kitchen area.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Utilize your electrical expertise to diagnose and repair faulty electrical components, such as transformers, motors, and wiring.
  • Collaborate with operators and fellow techs to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Adjust and fine-tune equipment to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.
  • Support safe operations, adhering to all applicable safety and food safety regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Electrical experience: You have a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and can troubleshoot and repair motors, relays, switches, and sensors.
  • Mechanical aptitude: You are skilled in working with mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.
  • Experience with pumps and motors: Your familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting pumps and electric motors is key to this role.
  • Controls experience (Nice to Have): Experience with control systems, such as Logix 500 or similar, is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can think critically to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Team player: You collaborate well with others and contribute to a positive, proactive work culture.
