Job Responsibilities:

Join our team as an Environmental Coordinator! We are seeking dedicated individuals to help facilitate implementation of company goals and objectives as well as meeting or exceeding legislative, regulatory and Employee Charter requirements through the various HSE programs and initiatives.. What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in environmental compliance or sustainability roles in an industrial setting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in environmental management (CHMM, REM, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state and federal environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, CAA, CWA)
  • Experience with environmental management systems (ISO14001)
  • Experience in managing environmental compliance including reporting and recordkeeping, environmental permitting for all media, manufacturing operations, regulatory reviews, etc.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate and teach both in private group settings.
  • Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with corporate sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, etc.)
  • Experience in automotive or metal stamping, fabrication and coating industries.
  • Project management experience
