Roofing Branch Manager

This is a full-time, direct placement position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day operations.
• Responsible for full profits and losses of the branch.
• Attending meetings, trainings, seminars, and conferences.
• Responsible for all administrative functions in the company’s business.
• Provides suggestions for business growth, increasing revenue, and profitability.
• Review and approve change orders and coordinate changes with the sales department.
• Practice and educate all employees of the company’s core values and “Safety First” standards and processes.
• Ensure safety meetings are conducted on a regular basis, and reviews equipment for maintaining safety standards.
• Oversee management of field and office personnel, including hiring, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Coordinate project schedules to execute contract obligations within time, scope and budget and job profitability.
• Implement improved processes and management methods where needed to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

• Minimum 5 years experience in roofing industry, including but not limited to construction operations, sales and estimating; technical requirements of manufacturers, and application of products.
• Training or equivalent experience in business processes and functions, including but not limited to finance, HR, management of operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred, not required.

Experience:

• Knowledge of the commercial, residential, and sheet metal industry.
• Experience with project manager principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
• Experience with running multiple large-scale commercial/residential roofing projects at one time.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude including employee conflicts, conflict resolution, profit decline, loss of business.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and a professional manner in dealing with customers and employees.
• Strong personal computer and project management software application skills, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, DataForma, Sage, Edge.
• Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes and perform in-depth work analyses and make improvement suggestions.

This position requires candidates to hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history, communicate in English, submit to and pass drug screening and background check.
