The Work You Will Do:

Environmental Specialist IV – District Four / Transportation Development / Planning & Environmental Management/Transportation Planning & Environmental Management

 

This position will be responsible for conducting environmental impact reviews for major and minor transportation improvement projects and working with internal offices and external agencies.

Annual Salary Range:

$67,791.29 - $87,729.91

 

A Competitive Area Differential (CAD) additive in the amount of $1,976.00 will be added to the annual salary.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

 

Conducts environmental impact reviews of transportation improvement projects. Independently performs environmental work including conducting and documenting field reviews, and analyzing information from Geographical Information Systems (GIS) based systems. Prepares National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other Project Development and Environment (PD&E) environmental documentation for all classes of action and projects of various levels of complexity. Conducts these ac
