Job Description

• Oversee and direct work assignments for all areas of responsibility including maintaining safe work methods, 6s activities, BPS initiatives, Service Quality Journey endeavors and mentor team leads and associates to assure success in these important Bosch initiatives.
• Help the Unit Supervisor maintain performance and accuracy in DSP area. Troubleshoot and improve system processes, system hardware and software opportunities calling for technical support when necessary.  Lead all special projects within the DSP areas.  Improve processes to enhance quality and efficiency of associate’s daily duties.
• Staff Development including performance reviews and training development. Assure policies and procedures are followed and up to date. Set and monitor goals and objectives for associates.  Communicate and coordinate with all departments including customer service to improve processes and quality issues on the replenishment and picking side of the business.
• Track daily hours, accuracy, and productivity of each associate.  Evaluate associates and complete performance appraisals in a timely fashion.  Other projects and programs as assigned.
• Prepare for quality audits for product in areas of responsibility. Respond to any deficiencies or Corrective Actions Required (CARS).
• Communicate and coordinate with all departments including customer service to improve processes and quality issues on the replenishment and picking side of the business.

Qualifications

• Business Management, Engineering or Logistics degree is preferred or minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in a qualified role
• Proficiency in MS Office is expected (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). AutoCAD skills a plus.
• Supervisory experience in high speed, high volume, highly automated distribution environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks is essential along with experience in effective team implementation/usage.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. Must be able to work with and influence effectively all levels.
