Executive Director Player Development

About the Role

The Executive Director Player Development provides leadership while managing player development budget, activities, and events.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create the plan, processes, and policies driving high value players to Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City
• Ability to develop relationships with revenue generating departments that leads to better communication between departments and enhanced revenue opportunities for the property.
• Ability to yield capacity for player events and amenities against customer demand and work collaboratively in developing and executing this strategy.
• Provide support and insight for marketing department including database marketing, direct mail, sales, advertising and promotions/events.
• Relationships with travel partners
• Process for tracking of Player Development activity and results
• Day-to-day leadership the Player Development Department
• Ensuring productivity of as compared to goals
• Tracking and reporting on individual revenue and profitability goals

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours

Requirements

• 7 -10 years + of experience in relationship marketing in a high-volume casino
• Knowledge of player metrics, marketing, selling techniques, and budgeting
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)

• The anticipated annual salary for this position is in the range of $102,600 - $143,600
