The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Antitrust & Competition Law to join our Corporate Legal Team. This is an opportunity to design, modernize, and manage a global antitrust compliance program that empowers employees, mitigates risk, and drives business success. Reporting to the Vice President, Antitrust, Competition & Regulatory Affairs, you will advise across the enterprise on complex antitrust and competition law matters, with a strong focus on building and continuously improving a world-class compliance program. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders and bring innovative approaches that make compliance practical and effective.

What You Will Do:

  • Antitrust Compliance Leadership: Design, implement, and deliver global training programs, conduct risk assessments, and draft and maintain antitrust policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Investigations, Monitoring & Auditing: Partner with Global Ethics & Compliance and other stakeholders on antitrust investigations, and oversee monitoring and auditing functions to ensure employees understand and adhere to the compliance program.

  • Continuously improve program effectiveness by updating training, refining monitoring processes, and incorporating lessons learned and best practices.

  • Regulatory Engagement: Support and help coordinate RTX’s engagement with antitrust and competition authorities worldwide, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement processes for collecting and reporting data under the European Commission’s Foreign Subsidies Regulation.

  • Enterprise Collaboration: Work closely with leaders across RTX—including the General Counsel and business unit executives—as well as with external counsel, customers, suppliers, and regulators.

  • Counseling & Transactions: Provide actionable advice on day-to-day compliance and counseling matters, as well as supporting M&A and other strategic transactions.

  • Strategic Alignment: Contribute to both near-term and long-term strategies to position RTX for sustainable growth while maintaining a strong culture of compliance.

  • Innovation in Compliance: Apply creative, practical, and technology-enabled approaches to make compliance training more engaging, monitoring more effective, and risk mitigation more proactive.

  • Minimal travel required. This position is on-site in Farmington, CT.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Juris Doctorate and extensive relevant legal experience.

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • Deep expertise in antitrust and competition law, including compliance program design, risk assessments, investigations, monitoring, and regulatory counseling.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • At least 3 years at a top law firm.

  • Experience managing or enhancing corporate antitrust compliance programs at a global company.

  • Proven ability to bring innovative, practical, and technology-driven approaches to compliance—such as using data analytics, digital tools, or creative training methods—to modernize compliance tools and proactively manage risk.
