The ideal candidate will develop regional food safety strategy, policy and processes, ensuring compliance and driving safety excellence at all levels of the organisation. This role requires the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to have experience in the development and implementation of large-scale safety programs with innovation and forward thinking analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the regional food safety program, development and implementation.
- Identify and ensure food safety regulatory compliance across the region.
- Implement and evolve risk management controls & procedures for food operations.
- Develop and direct the implementation of the regional audit & inspection program.
- Create and operationalize the regional food safety training program & guidance mechanisms.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Design, track & present SOPs and KPIs to monitor program effectiveness and performance.
- Accelerate and drive innovative, forward-thinking programs and guidelines for new sites and changing food delivery models.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis together with the EHS team for food safety incidents. Mitigate with corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and third parties as required.
- Embed current, forward-thinking, and innovative industry trends, regulations, and practices into data-driven insights, analytics and program enhancements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Extensive food safety and quality assurance experience with at least 5 years of experience, preferably across various cities/countries in the region.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulatory frameworks and compliance.
- Certified in HACCP or other relevant food safety management programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with the development and implementation of food safety management systems and quality assurance tools.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and data analysis with insight skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- International experience in the development and implementation of food safety programs.
- History of working within large-scale international businesses.
- Strong stakeholder, analytical, project, vendor and product management skills.
- Certified ISO 22000 Lead Auditor.
- Leadership and management experience to guide internal, vendor and business teams as applicable.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $103112 - $1811556 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
