Job Description:
The associate is part of a team that managers the vendor relationship, ensuring all KPIs are met, risk is mitigated, and performance stays in line with internal associates performing the same role. As part of the vendor management team, associate will gain key knowledge on vendor management techniques, co- employment requirements, and interact with centralized vendor relationship teams. This team also works to expand the presence of the vendor within Consumer Investments and determining optimal solutions for vendor use to extend operational excellence.
Ideal candidate is an experienced manager within Consumer Investments that has deep knowledge of our processes and procedures, platforms, products, risk requirements, partner relationships; and has prior success in driving performance and a world class client experience
Job code description: The associate manages a team of 20+ non-exempt, Series 7/66 registered Multi-Product Specialists involving high financial and regulatory risk exposure.

- Main point of contact for vendor operation managers and supervisors
- Participate in onboarding of vendor leaders
- Facilitate ongoing calibration sessions with vendor leaders and support staff to ensure consistency between vendor and LOB
- Provide peer mentoring and coaching of vendor supervisors to help facilitate leadership skills, knowledge, risk mitigation, and performance delivery
- Responsible for proactive vendor associate proficiency inspection and reporting, leveraged to close proficiency gaps

Required Qualifications
- Experienced manager within Consumer Investments with deep knowledge of Merrill functions, leadership techniques, and have successfully led teams for performance.
