Human by nature.</p> <p><b>Senior Toxicologist, your future role?</b></p> <p> </p> <p>You will be an important part of Fragrance &amp; Beauty, which is at the heart of Givaudan. We create fragrances that shape people's lives.</p> <p> </p> <p>Product safety is instrumental in Givaudan's continued strategic and operational excellence. With a focus on the Fragrance and Beauty division, you will provide scientific expertise to the Product Safety Sciences function to ensure products follow regulatory requirements and our safety guidelines. You will support the creation of product documentation to ensure new products registered with relevant authorities, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.</p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting to the Head of Product Safety Sciences, you will be based in our corporate office located in Argenteuil, working four days onsite and one from home a week.</p> <p> </p> <p>Sounds interesting? It could well be your perfect opportunity if you always aim to exceed customer needs and you want to pursue a professional career at the world's leader in flavours and fragrances.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p> <p>Product Safety Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellence in human health safety that demonstrate the safe use of our ingredients and products to customers and regulators</li> <li>Perform safety assessment of fragrances and cosmetic ingredients</li> <li>Provide scientific and toxicological support for customers, communicate on safety topics and participate on customer meetings ensuring close collaboration</li> <li>Ensure all products comply with customer safety guidelines, government regulations and trade association safety requirements.</li> <li>Define safety testing strategy in compliance with REACH and TSCA requirements</li> <li>Work with multiple CROs on study monitoring and report</li> <li>Follow and help maintain process for safety review of new actives and substances developed by research and development</li> <li>Manage efforts in obtaining relevant toxicology or regulatory data needed to support the registrations application and being the liaison between assigned S&amp;T project teams and product safety.</li> <li>Participate to trade association meetings and advise Givaudan management on new issues relevant to regulatory policy and issues helping regulatory and safety.</li> <li>Be part of Human Health team with interdependencies between functions (Regulatory, Registration, S&amp;T, Formula Management)</li> <li>Maintain process for safety review of new and existing fragrances, Oral Care or any new Givaudan technologies</li> <li>Provide internal and external industry guidance to maintain current safety evaluation processes based on developing regulations</li> <li>Ensure all all products comply with customer safety guidelines, government regulations and trade association safety requirements</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Regulatory Policy</p> <ul> <li>Provide Givaudan management guidance on complex regulatory, safety or product compliance issues</li> <li>Interpret scientific and technical data impacting Givaudan's Global Regulatory Toxicology group</li> <li>Provide leadership for Givaudan's regulatory and scientific advocacy programs to support our projects</li> <li>Represent Givaudan on Industry safety committees</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Product Documentation and Registration</p> <ul> <li>Lead efforts in obtaining relevant toxicology or regulatory data needed to support the registrations application and acting as the liaison between assigned R&amp;D project teams and Product safety</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>You?</b></p> <ul> <li>MS Degree / Ph. D in scientific field (toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry or related areas)</li> <li>More than 6 years of relevant industry experience in product safety or relevant scientific area or regulatory affairs</li> <li>Fluent English</li> <li>Qualified and experienced toxicologist to work on new technology programmes, customer support and REACH programme a
