Certified Welding Inspector

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING· Perform inspections in accordance with code and project requirements.· Perform a variety of Non-Destructive Examinations such as: Adhesion, Air Testing, Copper Sulfate, DFT, Holiday, Hydrostatic and Magnetic Particle.· Work closely with approved 3rd party inspection companies.· Maintain PQR’s and Welder Certs.· Maintain and update Utility Coatings & Fabrications standards library.· Monthly inspections on tools used in the shops, in accordance with our SPFA certification.· Must maintain up to date inspection reports on projects.· Assist our Quality Assurance Manager in Quality Audits.WHAT YOU BRING

• Must hold a valid and current CWI license.
• Preferably some experience with steel coatings, or NACE.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be fluent in English. Spanish bilingual is a bonus.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Pay attention to details and not afraid to ask questions.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
