    Job Description

    As the Sr. Manager of Retail Technology Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of our retail solutions including but not limited to point of sale system, inventory allocation/receiving management systems, extensions, reporting and store operations platforms. Leveraging your deep expertise in the retail industry, you will partner with business stakeholders and technology leadership teams to identify opportunities, bridge the gap between business objectives and technical capabilities, and drive the implementation of innovative solutions. 

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

    • Product Strategic Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive technology roadmap for retail solutions considering business objectives, industry trends and customer engagement & feedback. 
    • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and partner with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of technology initiatives resulting in business value. 
    • Solution Identification: Evaluate existing technology infrastructure and identify opportunities for build, enhancement, optimization, and innovation. 
    • Transformational Initiatives: Lead the implementation of transformative projects, such as upgrading/replatforming Point of Sale systems, enhancing reporting capabilities, optimizing inventory management systems, streamlining business processes, and leveraging consumer analytics. 
    • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. 
    • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. 
    • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges associated with technology initiatives, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. 

    Qualifications

    •  
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's/advanced degree preferred. 
    • Proven track record of 3+ years of leadership experience and 5+ years of the retail technology experience, preferably in retail apparel/footware space. 
    • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of retail technology solutions, including Point of Sale systems, reporting tools, inventory receiving/management systems, business processes, and integrations. 
    • Proven track record of success in leading technology-driven initiatives and driving transformative change. 
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and make data-driven decisions to drive product success. 
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
    • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management. 
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements. 
    • Exposure to POS platforms like Shopify, Teamworks, Newstore etc.  
    • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and familiarity with product management tools such as Jira. 
    • Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

    Pay Range: $180,000-$195,000/yr
