About the Job- Your Role:

This position provides clerical support to the Linn County Parole and Probation Office and staff. You will operate multiline phone systems, prepare paperwork, maintain files, contribute to projects, and participate in the functions of the unit. The right person for this position is detail oriented and has a passion for keeping things running. In this work you will prepare meeting notes, operate office technology, access criminal justice information, provide customer service, and handle money associated with fees.

Linn County Parole and Probation operates as function of the Oregon Department of Corrections, Community Corrections Division. This office provides oversight over adults on supervision residing in the community.  The goal of Linn County Parole and Probation is to enhance public safety by holding AOS accountable and reducing the risk of future criminal behavior through the implementation of evidence-based practices and programs. The position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-5:30 pm and may fluctuate during initial training & for office coverage needs.
