Responsibilities:
Are you passionate about data analysis? We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Data Specialist who will play a key role in optimizing our electronic catalog data and thus have a significant impact on our company. Your tasks:
Data analysis and integration: you will be responsible for analyzing original equipment catalog data from external sources and developing methods for effective data integration, quality control and regular updating of the electronic catalog (TecDoc)
Optimization of parts links: By leveraging competitive and catalog data, you will improve our parts links to competitive items, directly impacting customer needs
Continuous improvement: You will perform catalog benchmarking, identify product range gaps and drive continuous improvement of the tools used to keep our catalog up to date
Data quality assurance: You will continuously monitor data quality in TecDoc and SAP, develop reports to track corrective actions and proactively initiate measures with the responsible teams
Communication and collaboration: You will be responsible for internal communication on catalog improvements to local product managers and sales and work closely with category management, local product management and sales
Project support: You support the introduction of new product information management systems and ensure that they meet the requirements of the catalog data research process
Qualifications:
Education: Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics, business administration, (industrial) engineering or comparable
Experience: Initial experience in the preparation of data, databases and analysis, ideally in the context of electronic product catalogs
Language skills: Very good written and spoken English, good knowledge of German; other foreign languages are an advantage
Skills required to be successful:
Initial knowledge of data processing tools such as SQL, KNIME, Python, R, Power BI, Qlik, etc
Knowledge of automotive engineering and parts identification
Experience in the independent automotive aftermarket, especially with TecDoc catalog data, an advantage
