About the role
Angi is looking for a dynamic and fast paced individual to join our marketing team. The Marketing Associate will focus on positioning our brand and driving growth within the market. In this role, you will support the execution of external marketing plans, projects and deliverables, with a large focus on our events channel.
The Marketing Associate will be driven and incredibly organized. They will excel and grow in multiple areas including event planning, marketing and design, social media, partner relations and campaign management. Executing project-related tasks may include coordination with other teams, reporting of data, results, or financial tracking.
What you'll do
- Provide administrative ad-hoc support to B2B Marketing teams
- Support the planning, production, and promotion of around 26 events per year (Partner Sponsorships & Conferences, Angi Events, Industry Trade shows, etc.)
- Coordinate with the pro marketing team to plan logistics and onsite activations
- Collaborate across multiple teams including Marketing, Creative and Sales on event production and success
- Participate on-site at events to drive engagement and activation
- Manage creation and production of event marketing materials such as signage, brochures, show guides, etc.
- Execute the event marketing lifecycle and email marketing channel (pre, during and post-show communications)
- Plan and execute event logistics including venue sources, booth & exhibit needs, furniture, badges, AV, room-setups, printing, shipping etc.
- Adhere to and maintain set budgets, ensuring planned expenses are tracked and updated for proper forecasting and reconciliation
- Develop strong relationships with internal Business Development, Sales Leadership and teams to deliver on attendance, pipeline goals and revenue goals
- Build relationships and serve as a point of contact with event organizers and vendors
- Manage event contracts, invoices and ensure proper timing of outbound payments
- Manage production, inventory of swag and collateral for marketing and sales within a set budget
- Manage post-show campaign lead collection and sales tracking report for accurate performance, revenue, and ROI tracking
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
- 2+ years of professional experience within event marketing or related field highly preferred
- Previous experience within events management highly preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously and overcome obstacles
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High aptitude for learning new skills and the willingness to tackle new challenges
Compensation & Benefits
- The salary band for this position ranges from $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
- This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
