The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services team:

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within the RTX Enterprise Services – Controllership and Compliance team. This organization offers opportunity for this individual to be part of a growing accounting department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change. Job responsibilities are subject to change based upon alignment of processes within this developing organization.

What You Will Do

  • Monthly journal entries, closing activities and account reconciliations related to various Collins, Pratt & Whitney and/or Corporate accounts.
  • Corporate expense allocations and charges including but not limited to: education charges, leadership charges, technology fees, processing of invoices in WPR system, etc.
  • General ledger closing activities including:
  • SAP ERP system closing steps & loading ledger data to HFM
  • Chart of accounts maintenance
  • SAP to HFM tie outs & mapping
  • Participate in process improvement activities related to all central accounting functions as required, i.e., journal entry automation, creating standard processes and other finance transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to ES by bringing innovative solutions within the knowledge base and work of the department
  • Provide excellent customer service to Collins, Pratt & Whitney, and/or Corporate accounts, including answering questions or responding to ad hoc requests as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical, planning and organizational skills to problem solve and recommend comprehensive solutions

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in SAP and/or HFM is a plus
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
