As a Security Officer Chemical Patrol Part-Time in North Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and managing badge entry to help to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols of the premises, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry in chemical and petrochemical locations.
• Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the location to maintain compliance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as appropriate for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
