Discover a place where your talents thrive and your contributions matter.  We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Staff Engineer to join our team in Grand Rapids or Plymouth, MI. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a Project Manager and team, and drive the design of various Civil/Site Development projects. Quick thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design or provide Project Management
• Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
  • Stormwater management design
  • Site grading
  • Erosion and sediment control design
  • Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
  • Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
  • Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
• Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
• Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
• E1 Certification preferred
• 0-2 years related work experience
• Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
