As a Senior SDET, You Will:

Test Strategy and Planning:

• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies
• Define and document test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and technical specifications
• Identify test data requirements and ensure adequate coverage for various testing scenarios

 Test Automation:

• Utilize your strong Java programming skills to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
• Monitor and maintain the health of automated test suites, ensuring they provide reliable and actionable feedback.

 Code Review and Collaboration:

• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of code written by development teams
• Collaborate closely with developers to provide early feedback on design and implementation considerations from a testing perspective.

 Performance and Scalability Testing:

• Design and execute performance and scalability tests to identify bottlenecks and optimize software performance.
• Analyze and report performance test results, suggesting improvements and optimizations as needed

 Regression Testing:

• Conduct thorough regression testing during software development cycles to ensure that new features and changes do not adversely affect existing functionality

 Documentation:

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team to foster continuous learning and improvement.

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or other relevant tools
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and quality assurance processes
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with other programming languages and technologies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Permanent Residency required
